The Matwork Teacher Training course is seen as one of the most comprehensive of its kind in the world and is widely seen as an international benchmark. Their method maintains the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original material whilst developing his key principles to form a unique and highly evolved approach. After joining a gym in 2018 I found a new passion and motivation for lifting weights and becoming the strongest version of myself. This led me to completeting a PowerWave group exercise and Level 2 Fitness Instructing course back in 2021 to help others find a love for fitness and the gym themselves. Leading me to now having years experience instructing classes and motivating a groups of individuals all trying to lead a more healthy and active lofestyle.Fast forward two years and I came to the conclusion that this is my passion and I want to help others with exercise and in the gym, inparticular encouraging others to push themselves and not be afraid of weights or strength training in any capacity, and feel confident and empowered in themselves. Therefore, I completed my Level 3 Personal Training course to allow me to instruct individuals on a 1-2-1 and group basis!
Whether that is weights, hiit, running or just moving there body in any form, I believe each individual should find a form of exercise and structure that they truley love and excites them as this is how they’ll stay consistent and active!
Cara Fielden
200 Hour Yoga Teacher
With a strong foundation in dance and gymnastics, I discovered yoga during lockdown and completely fell in love with it. This journey led me to pursue my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, where I found my ‘dharma’: our ability to use our gifts and capabilities in service of something bigger, in a way that fulfils the yearning inside of us. In my classes, you will not only enhance your physical strength and flexibility but also develop greater self-awareness. Together, we will learn to sit with our feelings and delve into a deeper exploration of ourselves and our connection to the universe. And if that’s not your thing, that’s ok. In my classes, I encourage you to take what resonates, and leave what doesn’t.
Each session is thoughtfully themed and tailored to meet the needs of every individual. Physical poses come with modifications to ensure inclusivity, breathwork prepares the body and mind for practice, and we conclude with time to rest and absorb the benefits of the class. An optional meditation closes the practice, providing a complete and holistic experience. My classes are a welcoming space for every body, mind, and ability — a non-judgemental zone with no expectations. There is no requirement to be flexible or to show up in any way other than your true self. We will meet you wherever you are. All you need to do is show up, which is often the hardest part!
